2012 Audi Q5 Hybrid Quattro

Audi is making cars that are greener to the environment with no compromise to performance and style. With the new Audi Q5 Hybrid Quattro SUV, it is now possible to have both. The SUV is a mid size vehicle with sports like handling.

The engine is a 2.0 liter inline-4 six cylinder hybrid with turbo when it’s running at idle speed. The engine also switches to four cylinders to save on fuel. It can generate 211 horse power and an additional help of 54 hp with its electric motor.

Audi A3 e-Tron Concept

Audi has unveiled an attractive technical study - the Audi A3 e-tron concept - in Shanghai. The four-seat notchback sedan integrates the full breadth of the brand's technological expertise - from the enhanced MMI operating system, to the high-end infotainment system, to the drivetrain. And with its two powerplants and lithium-ion batteries that store enough energy to propel the car on electric power alone for up to 54 km (34 miles), the plug-in hybrid also delivers high fuel efficiency.



Design and body

The Audi A3 e-tron concept is a four-seat notchback sedan. It measures 4.44 meters (14.57 ft) long and 1.84 meters (6.04 ft) wide, but just 1.39 meters (4.56 ft) high - proportions that underscore its dynamic character.


The design represents the typical Audi language of sporty elegance. The single-frame grille is integrated into the front end, giving it a sculptured look. Its frame is made of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP), and the transversely mounted, three-dimensional aluminum louvers create a visual effect that emphasizes the showcar's width. 
The headlights merge with the beveled upper corners of the single-frame, forming a transition that marks the starting point of the prominently accentuated lines of the engine hood.

The headlights represent a new stage of evolution in LED technology, a groundbreaking innovation from Audi. They become broader as they extend outward, and a line underneath makes them seem to float on air. Above the front spoiler is a full-length air intake, also made of CFRP, framed by a metal clasp. The spoiler features a splitter that increases the downforce on the front wheels.

The new Audi TT RS Plus is a small sports car that comes in Roadster and Coupe versions. Its five-cylinder turbocharged engine that is capable of power boost delivers 360 horsepower, enough power to make the car reach a maximum speed of 174 mph (280 km/h).The power comes from its 2.5 L TFSI engine, a turbocharged direct injection unit that brings 20 more horsepower than the previous or current model. In line with it, the new unit delivers a torque of 343 ft-lb, 11 ft-lbs more powerful than the previous or current model.

Braking

2012 Audi Q3 Vail Concept

Audi already sells its Q3 crossover in a number of global markets, with the global production Q3 having bowed in April of 2011 at the Shanghai auto show. But now the automaker has released a concept named “Vail” after the tony Colorado ski resort town to build interest.




Exterior
The flared wheel arches and running boards, are some of the exterior eye-catching features on the sides of the Audi Q3 Vail. This themed car also features two exclusive solutions at the back, two tailpipes of dual-branch exhaust system which is integrated in the diffuser and underbody guard area. The front roof-rail support incorporates compact and energy efficient wide-angled LED lights that brighten the area around the Q3 Vail.





Interior
The interior of this vehicle is covered in 3 colors. The carpet and most interior parts of the car are black in color, while the headlining is made from titanium gray Alcantara. The ribbed floor mats are edged with thin strips of red velvet finish leather. The whole instrument panel is trimmed in black fine Nappa leather, with a contrasting titanium gray stitching.
The steering wheel is made of leather with red contrasting stitching and an aluminum trim. Another striking feature in this SUV is the metal dials around the speedometer and rev counter, which were made using a rotary-grinding process.

The Audi Q3 Vail Concept uses a 2.5 liter, 5 cylinder TFSI engine with turbo charging and direct injection, which generates an output of 314 horse power and 295 lb/ft of torque from a displacement of 2,480 cc. The engine is partially covered by a panel made from carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer.
The power of the five cylinder unit is transferred to the Quattro permanent all-wheel drive system through a 7-speed S-tronic transmission. The Q3 Vail Concept accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 5.5 second and continues to a maximum speed of 162.80 mph.

2012 Audi A1 Sportback

The 2012 Audi A1 Sportback is a 5-door car and at just under 13 feet long is quite small.
